The Lucy Faithfull Foundation has one overarching aim and that is to prevent child sexual abuse. We are passionate about this aim and throw all our energy into it. We look for people who want to do the same.

We are currently recruiting for: a full-time Practitioner based in the East of England.

We are also recruiting Sessional Facilitators for our Internet Offender Brief Intervention Programme.

The Lucy Faithfull Foundation is a national charity whose mission is to combat child sexual abuse and exploitation. 

We require a Practitioner based in the East of England to contribute to the development of an Intervention Programme for Internet Offenders, their  family members and other supporters. The successful candidate will be required to liaise with the local police and deliver individual and group work sessions to programme participants. In addition they will become part of the Foundations multi-disciplinary practitioner team preparing reports and providing assessment and intervention to Local Authorities in cases where sexual abuse is known or suspected. Providing advice via our Stop it Now! Helpline is also part of the role.

Candidates will have extensive experience of working with adult sex offenders and non-offending parents/carers, including internet offenders and will need excellent interviewing, clinical, report writing and groupwork skills. Knowledge and experience of working with children and young people who have sexually harmful behaviours, with child victims of sexual abuse and of providing consultancy and training to other professionals are desirable. 

Applicants must have a recognised professional qualification plus a comprehensive knowledge of child protection procedures and child sexual abuse.

This is a full time position based on 37.5 hours per week.  We offer a salary of £36,170 per annum and will be subject to a DBS check.

Internet Offender Brief Intervention Programme

Sessional Facilitators

East, West and Southwest England, Southern England, and the Home Counties,

Rate; £70 per programme session.

The Lucy Faithfull Foundation is a child protection charity that deals with adults who have allegations of, or convictions for, child sexual abuse.

We will be delivering an Intervention Programme to Internet Offenders and their Families in the above areas. The programme consist of an 8 session groupwork programme for offenders and a 4 session group work programme for  partners and other family members or supporters.

We are looking to recruit sessional programme facilitators, to work alongside LFF staff, to deliver programmes in  the above areas.

Candidates should have a good working knowledge of Internet offending and the Criminal Justice System, and be experienced group facilitators. Programme sessions last for 2.5 hours and will most likely be delivered in the evening. They are delivered over a period of 8 and 4 weeks respectively.
